Damn where do I start? I first met Steve when he was working at this little punk shop called SMASH in Georgetown, right away we struck up conversation on limited edition Nike’s since there were very few people at this time in the DC area who knew ANYTHING about the Lucky Nike SB Dunks and the history. From this point I would see Steve all over DC and found out he was doing an amazing party centered around people having fun and real music that you would not typically hear in a club. Fast forward a few years DC is really popping! The sneaker, art and fashion culture has fully surfaced and few of us were doing great events all over DC. The one familiar face you would always see supporting these events was Steve. I even opened up a shop KickBallers DC in the same location that SMASH was at, one face you could always count on seeing was Steve. At this time in DC 2 other shop’s opened up, but Steve found a way to support all of us because he knew this was a good thing for the DC culture. I can go on for days about Steve but the most important part is since Steve has always showed us support, its time for US to show him SUPPORT!
If you are in the DC area I suggest you drop all your plans, cancel all your regular club parties and go to U HAUL DC eat a lot of food and drink a lot of liquor so all proceeds to go Steve’s medical fund.
If you can not make the party, or wish to help an amazing person you can also donate via paypal to this addy : keepingthestereofaith@gmail.com
God Bless Steve, I know you will pull thru this and have a fast recovery. See you when I’m back in the DMV!

This past Tuesday night I headed over to the London Hotel in West Hollywood to check out the TAG event that Epiphany Media was throwing. Right when I walked in to the roof top pool I was taken away by the amazing views. Unlike most company branded events Epiphany did a very good job keeping logo placement very sexy, which in turn kept the event super sexy! The new TAG body sprays they were launching were signature sprays by Ludacris, Rob Dyrdek and Carmelo Anthony. Thanks to my dude Marcus Troy for the photos since I have been leaving my camera at home for no apparent reason.
By the end of the night I think every dude in the spot was smelling the same.
Unlike most events, the branding at the TAG event was on point. You knew what event you were at with out it being in your face every corner you turned. Hands down one of the best events I have been to in LA so far, good job Epiphany!
Special thanks to the dude Marcus Troy for letting me snag the photos! See more of his photos on his BLOG
